How Field & Fur began
Field & Fur was born from a simple belief: Pets deserve the same love and care at home, even when their owners are away. Based in Baildon, West Yorkshire, we are a family-run pet boarding and walking service that treats every dog and cat as one of our own. Whether you live in Shipley, Bingley, or the surrounding villages, we offer a home-from-home experience you can trust.
Our journey started with our own dog, who taught us the value of patience, routine, and unconditional love. Before long, friends and neighbours began trusting us to care for their pets while they were away at work or on holiday. This naturally developed into Field & Fur becoming a trusted local service for pet owners across the area.
We are fully insured and trained in pet first aid. More importantly, we are genuine animal lovers who take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs.

Daily Updates
Photos and messages sent straight to your phone while you are away. We know how much you miss them, so we keep you connected with regular, honest updates throughout the stay.
Personal care, not volume
We deliberately keep our numbers small. This is not a boarding facility — it is our home. Each guest gets to know us, settle into a familiar routine and receive the individual attention that makes them feel safe. We take time during the meet and greet to understand feeding, medication, walks and the quirks that make your pet who they are.
Because we only care for a limited number of pets at any one time, you will never be one of many. Your booking is personal, your updates are real, and your pet is genuinely looked after by someone who cares.
